Description
We just received a massive delivery of B-stock bass guitars from G&L, including a variety of 4-strings and 5-strings across multiple models. These instruments, crafted by the legendary USA-made brand, only have minor cosmetic imperfections—but nothing that affects their incredible tone or playability.
This is a rare chance to own top-tier basses at a discount, and we’re passing those savings directly to you! Whether you’re looking for a classic vibe or modern versatility, now’s the time to grab a piece of Leo Fender’s legacy at an unbeatable price.
While lighter basses have their appeal, a heavier instrument often delivers something special—a powerful, focused fundamental with more depth and authority behind each note. That added heft can translate to richer tone and sustain that simply can’t be achieved with ultra-lightweight builds. For players seeking punch and presence, a bit more weight can make all the difference.
Build to Order JB 5
In the decade since G&L began offering bassists a made-in-Fullerton jazz style bass, the G&L JB has delighted players with classic Alnico tones served up with more attack and sustain thanks to its G&L Saddle Lock bridge designed by Leo Fender. Today, the G&L JB•5 applies this formula to a five-string platform with an easy-playing neck featuring 1.750″ nut width and slim rear profile for enhanced comfort.
This JB•5 projects a time-honored yet subtly progressive vibe, embracing the past yet unafraid of moving forward. The slim, hard-rock maple neck features an easy-playing satin finish, while its comfortable 9 1/2″ radius and Jescar 57110 medium-jumbo nickel-silver frets deliver silky playability. Its Leo Fender-designed Saddle-Lock™ bridge to transfer string energy right into the body end-grain for an incredibly resonant instrument.
Founded by Leo Fender in 1980, G&L USA instruments continue to be made in the historic G&L facility on Fender Avenue in Fullerton, California, the Birthplace of Bolt-on.
We were unable to locate any flaws on this bass.
